The Pulse Secure VPN client is now available on the EPA's "Remote Access Sign On" webpage (https://workplace.epa.gov/ when AWL). All remote access users are encouraged to use the Pulse Secure VPN client selection for all remote access needs.
Automatic Installation information
GFE and non-GFE computers - If you have used the Juniper remote access system in the past, No install or other action is required. The new Pulse Secure VPN client will automatically be installed when selecting the VPN option.
Non-GFE Computers - Non-GFE computers that have never connected to EPA's remote access solution, may require elevated/admin rights when the Pulse VPN programs are installed.
Installer Options for Non-GFE Computers
If you have limited desktop privileges to your non-GFE computer or you are having problems with the automatic installation, the links below allow you to download the Pulse Secure installer service so you can arrange for installation with the appropriate support staff. Do not uninstall the old Juniper VPN programs.
Pulse Secure Installer Service (.exe) - Elevated/admin privileges required for initial install. Once installed, this simplifies future installations and upgrades of the Pulse Secure's client software for users with limited desktop privileges. Use this self-extracting .exe package unless a specific requirement exists for Microsoft Windows Installer (msi) packages. Pulse Secure Installer Service (.msi) - Elevated/admin privileges required for initial install. Once installed, this simplifies future installation and upgrades of Pulse Secure's client software for users with limited desktop privileges. Deploy this Microsoft Windows Installer (msi) package if your organization or infrastructure requires msi packages.
